About Us
Annee Cakes is a home baking business that was birth from a dream in 2019. I have been baking and decorating cakes for over 15 years mainly for my family and friends. One day I shared my dream with close friends that inspired me to take my dream and bring it to reality. It’s all about baking from scratch delicious, tasty and moist cakes, cupcakes, and cookies all with real ingredients. I want to share my journey with others who have a dream of starting a business, and enjoy the love of baking.
About The Chef
I am a southern girl from Mississippi who has baking in my genes. I reside in Portland, Oregon now where I started Annee Cakes business. Looking back I realized baking from scratch is what my mom, grandmother, aunties, and greats, from generation to generation, all did. I am very passionate about baking and cake decorating. My grandmother, who everyone in the small town called her Mama Hannah, even all her grand-kids, made the best pound cake from scratch. Her cakes melted in your mouth. So moist and delicious.
Here I am years later, looking back, I remember the times when I would be watching my grandmother in her kitchen baking cakes from scratch. I remember she would let me crack an egg. Now, it is paying off. I have been passionate about baking for years.
